‎It would be recalled that Diddy was sentenced on October 3, 2025 after being found guilty of prostitution-related charges connected to the transportation of individuals across state lines. His sentencing came after months of intense courtroom proceedings and widespread media coverage.

‎The rapper and entrepreneur was convicted on two counts of unlawfully transporting people for the purpose of prostitution. These charges brought to light allegations that had followed the entertainer for years, culminating in a landmark federal trial.

‎Diddy Combs Transferred To US Federal Prison

‎According to information obtained by TMZ, Combs has now been transferred to the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution, a low-security U.S. prison known for its rehabilitation and drug-treatment programs. This facility will be his new residence as he serves his sentence, and it is reported to have been carefully chosen by his defense team.

‎Prior to the transfer, his legal team requested that he be placed at Fort Dix, citing specific support services and conditions suitable for his situation. Combs is expected to remain there until an estimated release date of May 8, 2028, barring any sentence adjustments or early release for good behavior.

The high-profile trial officially began on May 5, 2025, at the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Throughout the proceedings, Combs faced a range of serious federal accusations involving alleged sexual misconduct, racketeering, and human trafficking.

Despite the magnitude of the charges, the music executive maintained his innocence and entered a plea of not guilty. His legal team consistently argued against the claims and challenged the credibility of witnesses.

During testimony, federal prosecutors accused Diddy of overseeing a network of associates who coordinated and facilitated travel arrangements for women to participate in sexual activities with him across multiple states, a key element of the interstate crimes he was ultimately convicted for.

In an attempt to secure his release prior to the verdict, Diddy’s attorney submitted a significant $50 million bond request, accompanied by strict proposed conditions. These conditions included full-time home confinement, GPS monitoring, a ban on internet and phone usage, round-the-clock supervision, and mandatory weekly drug testing to ensure his cooperation and compliance with court requirements.

‎However, despite these measures, the court ultimately denied his bail request, leading to his remand and now his final transfer into federal custody to serve his sentence.
