A medical doctor has sparked widespread discussion online after revealing the annual salary and various allowances reportedly earned by an employee recruited into a major company.

The doctor, identified as Dr. Penking, posted the information on X (formerly Twitter), where it immediately attracted attention from Nigerians curious about corporate salary structures and employment benefits in top organizations.

Breakdown of the Salary and Allowances

In the screenshot shared by the doctor, the newly recruited staff member appears to be earning a substantial compensation package, though the name of the company was not disclosed.

According to the document, the employee's annual salary is ₦10,197,300.36. Alongside the base salary, the employee also receives significant allowances, including a housing allowance of ₦4,334,317, among others.

The post also highlighted that the employee is entitled to several additional benefits covering housing, appliances, and more — all amounting to millions of naira in total compensation. It was also noted that during annual leave, the employee receives 13.5% of their annual salary, adding another layer of financial advantage.
